Lee Anne Stoddart


Lee Anne is passionate about brands and their ability to affect consumer behavior. She brings this passion along with her leadership, brand strategy, and business management experience to every project. With more than two decades of corporate experience in both advertising agency (Leo Burnett Company - Chicago) and client-side brand & business management (The Pillsbury Company and General Mills, Inc. - Minneapolis), Lee Anne has worked with all levels and functions to develop brand strategies that guide, build, and drive business growth. Over the course of her corporate career, Lee Anne was a brand steward and business leader on several national and regional brands including Allstate, Tropicana, Pillsbury, Keebler, Totino's, Hungry Jack and Martha White.  She contributed to the successful marketplace positioning of dozens of brands and products.

Lee Anne was a lead trainer for the corporate-wide Diageo PLC brand-building program and an early advisor to General Mills' Champion Brand Building initiative. As the marketing director of brand equity at General Mills, Lee Anne led development of the global Pillsbury brand strategy and corresponding brand manual to guide strategic implementation. She partnered with business and agency teams to develop positioning for multiple products, and led the development of an over-arching, award-winning advertising campaign that drove business growth.

Since founding Astrion Partners in 2002, her partnership with a range of clients allows Lee Anne to direct her passion for brands and consumer/customer insights at a strategic level and engage with client teams to develop and refine their go-to-market strategies. She has experience with B2B and B2C businesses across a range of industries including consumer packaged and durable goods in the retail & food service sectors; healthcare management & insurance; web-based program platforms; transportation & logistics services; university graduate program marketing; venture capital funding; legal information & services; and mortgage banking. Her broader strategic consulting includes leading business and brand vision/strategy development; customer and consumer value construct development; and competitive "War Game" sessions for US and International business teams. Lee Anne also served as a retained senior marketing consultant to the President/CEO of Eastman Outdoors, Inc. from 2006 - 2016.

Lee Anne received Silver and Bronze Effie awards for advertising and is described by colleagues and clients as a "positioning guru" who brings discipline, energy and a sense of fun to her work. Lee Anne holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications from Bowling Green State University and is a trustee and Vice-Chair of the board for the Music Institute of Chicago. She is a Senior patroller with the National Ski Patrol and volunteers as the recruiting advisor for the Southern Region, and at Wilmot Mountain as the Patrol Representative/Director and an Outdoor Emergency Care Instructor.  She and her husband have two daughters and live just north of Chicago in Winnetka, IL.
